When Helga convinces him to go back to his normal self, he goes back to wearing his regular clothes. It’s likely that if the episode had been longer instead of being paired with its sister episode, "A Day in the Life of a Classroom" and had Helga not convinced him to go back to what he was before suffering a gas attack that he would have continued wearing the primitive clothing. It’s also likely that he would have become a nudist if he decided to forgo it. Similar to what Tommy Pickles did in the Rugrats Season 3 episode 15, "Naked Tommy".
Actual sound effects from Wheel of Fortune are heard when Helga tries to bring the rest of her family back with television.

Helga tells Miriam that she should talk to Bob, being his wife, to which Miriam replies "well, technically yes". This is another hint about Bob and Miriam’s rocky marriage.
In "Olga Gets Engaged", upon hearing Olga will be dropping out of school to get married, Miriam responds "don't make the same mistake I did" to which Bob looks at her with a look of surprise.
