Arnold and Gerald enter the Tour De Pond boat race, and face competition with Rex Smythe-Higgins III, whose family has won ever since Rex's grandfather cheated and beat Arnold's Grandpa 70 years ago.
Plot[]
It is the annual Tour De Pond boat race and the Smythe-Higgins family has won this race for decades. After meeting the current descendant, Rex Smythe-Higgins III as well as his snobby attitude, Arnold decided to challenge Rex in the race. While trying to make their own boat for the race, Grandpa Phil remembered when he first entered the Tour De Pond boat race. Grandpa tells Arnold and Gerald the story of when he lost to young Rex Smythe-Higgins I who cheated by drilling holes in the bottom of young Phil's boat. Grandpa gives Arnold and Gerald his old decrepit boat, "The Gibraltar" and they fix it up for the race. The race was about to begin and Gerald was confident that their new boat would beat Rex. Rex on the other hand also brought a new boat called "The Hydro-Flamer 4000" that was bigger and better. Rex's grandfather, Rex Smythe-Higgins I was also present at this race and clashed with Grandpa Phil. When the race started, Rex gave the other kids a head start before showing off his new boat's rocket features. The Hydro-Flamer 4000 swirled around the others and caught them all in a whirlpool. Arnold used his Grandpa's techniques to get the Gibraltar out of the whirlpool and make way to the finish. The Hydro-Flamer 4000 chased after the Gibraltar and got caught in its sail, resulting in a tie to compete in the final round. While Arnold and Gerald were listening to Grandpa Phil's confusing strategy, they forgot their remote. Rex Smythe-Higgins I sabotaged Arnold's remote despite his grandson's questioning. When the final round began, the Gibraltar would not move. Rex was confident that he was going to win and he took his focus off the race to enjoy a shellfish lunch while his boat slowly drifted towards the finish line. Arnold had no way of activating the propellers, but the sails of the Gibraltar caught the wind and passed Rex's boat. The Hydro-Flamer 4000 exploded when Rex activated the boat's afterburner too quickly. The Gibraltar crashed into the edge of the pond and sank, but still came in first place. Grandpa Phil bragged about the victory to Rex Smythe-Higgins I leading to the two grandpas fighting in the pond. Arnold and Rex on the other hand refuse to continue their family's feud and they shake hands.
