Lana Vail is a minor character in the Hey Arnold! TV Series. She lived in the Sunset Arms Boarding House during the first season.
Biography
Based on her accent, Lana appears to be from Southeastern Europe, and would appear to be single, as she lived alone during her stay at Sunset Arms.
In Season 2, she was indicated to have moved out of the boarding house for reasons unknown, but continued to make occasional appearances and cameos, including in the show's theme and opening credits for the rest of it's run. She appeared in flashbacks from presumably during her stay in the episodes "Helga on the Couch" and "The Journal".
Despite leaving the Boarding House, she still made occasional appearances, such as in the episode "Dinner for Four" where she's seen being startled by one of the cockroaches, and "Dino Checks Out" in which she attends a DinoMania concert. She also appears at the Boarding House in a few episodes, such as "Family Man", as if she had never moved out.

- Her only speaking role is in "Heat", asking Arnold if a little more heat was too much to ask.
- Along with Mr. Purdy and Mr. Smith, she was removed from the Boarding House between the first and second seasons.
- Out of these three characters, Lana is the only one whose room is not visited for rent collection in "Gerald Comes Over".
- A number of rumors have appeared over the years about her possible role in the series, often attributed to Craig Bartlett, but none of them have been verified from a public source.
