Vincent Andrew Schiavelli (November 11, 1948 – December 26, 2005) was an American character actor noted for his work on stage, screen and television, often described as "the man with the sad eyes" as a result of Marfan syndrome. He was notable for his numerous and often critically acclaimed supporting roles. Schiavelli was also well known for his height, standing 6 feet 6 inches (1.98 m).
Vincent's TV credits included in Taxi and Miami Vice and he played roles in sucessful films as Tomorrow Never Dies, Batman Returns and he has also appeared in several acclaimed and famous films such as playing Bruce Frederickson from the 1975 film adaptation of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest and his most famous role as the Subway Ghost from the 1990 romantic fantasy film Ghost. Schiavelli died in December 2005 of lung cancer.He and Michael Jeter (another Hey Arnold! guest star) were talked about on the internet documentary "No Small Parts" (a documentary talking about various character actors) .
